AHLEC's Mandate

In creating AHLEC’s Journey, the Emerald Trust’s mandate includes the following:

Help children function more effectively -- in the home -- in the classroom -- on the playing field -- and elsewhere in society

by providing them with unique “coping tools" that encourage behavior modification which, in turn,

will allow these children to enjoy more productive and rewarding lives.

The first of these "tools" is

AHLEC

a universal

Special Person Symbol

specifically designed to help children

and (even) adults gain a better understanding of exactly

who they are -- and what their "place" is in the grand scheme of things.
